...and you'll go down in history...

When it really comes down to it, the perfect gift to give every beer lover, for any holiday or occasion, is beer. All the risk of giving a gift that the person may not like is gone. You know they enjoy beer, so going to the bottle shop and putting together a mixed six-pack of beer is a winning situation.

The only problem with gifting a six-pack over the holidays though, is it’s really difficult to make the gift a surprise. When you wrap it up, it either still looks exactly like a six-pack with some paper over it, or it’s hidden in a box and likely makes that bottle clanking sound as soon as you hand over the gift. To solve that problem for the holidays, we say to give up on trying to wrap them together and instead, decorate that tasty six-pack of beer and turn it into reindeer. There’s little surprise to be lost, so you might as well have fun with it and make each bottle of beer even more festive and perfect for holiday drinking.

Cost of Goods: < $5

What You Need:

  • 12 Wiggle eyes
  • 6 Red pompoms
  • 6 Brown pipe cleaners
  • Glue (we used super glue as you don’t need much, making it easier to conceal)

How To Do It:

Step 1: Put together a six-pack of beer. It’s the holidays, so we recommend going with an assortment of winter warmers, imperial stouts, and Christmas beers. Though you can also never go wrong with just a six pack of Tröegs Mad Elf or Brew Works Rude Elf’s.

Step 2: Bend the brown pipe cleaner in half and then bend each side into the shape of reindeer antlers. There’s no specific way to do this, so just play around with it until you find a shape you like.

Step 3: Glue on the antlers, wiggle eyes, and red pompoms.

Step 4: Give your artfully crafted six-pack to your beer-loving friends and family.
